Wood Warbler

This little bird sits singing its daily song in the golden, sun drenched forests of France while all the little critters listen and nod their heads. He peaks his tiny eyes around every corner, looking for a potential mate, shouts his song as loud as he can. The Wood Warbler is 11–12.5 cm long with green above and white below and a lemon-yellow breast. It has two song types; a high-pitched fluid metallic trill, and a series of 3 to 5 descending piping notes of lower pitch.
