Underground Bunker

This bunker was once key defensive position along the country's coast. Since the end of the war, most of these bunkers have been demolished or have fallen into complete disrepair. This structure, however, has been refitted for civilian use. Its' tall concrete observation tower was ideally suited to act as a lighthouse, protecting merchant vessels from the rocky crag on which it sits. Today, the bunker is filled not with the anxious whispers of soldiers awaiting an imminent attack, but rather the hum of the lighthouse's engine moving its ever-rotating beacon across the seascape.
