Train Station

This is the sound of a modern passenger train station, though no trains can be heard. There is a presence of a large room, with echos of conversations and announcements. A train station, railway station, railroad station, or station yard is a facility at which passengers may board and alight from trains and/or rail-transported freight may be loaded or unloaded. Historically, the term (railroad) depot has also been employed in North America. A station whose primary purpose is the provision of passenger services is sometimes known as a passenger station, wheareas a station dealing solely or mainly with goods (freight) is referred to as a goods station or freight station.
