Toyohashi Tram

Step onto the gently moving mass transportation system of Toyohashi, Japan. Toyohashi is a city located in Aichi Prefecture, is the biggest import and export hub in Japan, and is the port for approximately 50% of all automobile imports into Japan. It also has what is considered to be the best surfing beach in Aichi and the surrounding region of Japan. In the film Harry Potter, Toyohashi is the hometown of the professional Quidditch team the Toyohashi Tengu. The Toyohashi Railroad operates railway, tram, and bus lines, and was founded in 1924. Unlike bigger cities of Japan, Toyohashi doesn’t have subways, therefore the tram is very important for local travel.
