Tornado Warning

Tornado warnings or Tornado Sirens, are mechanical devices first used as air raid sirens in World War II. Today sirens have evolved to alert the public of possible tornados, tsunamis, nuclear attacks, and other forms of severe weather. Tornado emergency alert systems are electrically powered to inform citizens of imposing tornado threats, and when the threat has passed in order to insure public safety.
