Torch

As you enter the corridor, you realize it is much darker than you had anticipated. You turn back for a brief moment and reach up to take a torch from a sconce on the stone wall. The torch is large and there is a rag of some sort wrapped around the end of the wooden rod. The rag is dipped in pitch and lit to create an impressive fire that crackles and blazes as you follow your path through the dark. The roar of the flames illuminates your route as you continue into the unknown.
