Spanish Pine Forest

Once upon a time these very woods bustled as the main trade route between Africa and Europe, but now they lay dormant beneath the feet of only a few wandering tourists or nature loving locals. For the birds their day has come as they no longer retreat from the human traffic but dominate the forest. Their tiny scraping feet and piercing calls are what keeps the trees from getting lonely and the trickle of people smiling from ear to ear.
