Short Train

The train glides along the tracks at a steady pace. It creaks slightly as it moves along, and the sound of metal on metal becomes more prominent when it heads into a wide turn. The rhythm is kept constant as the rails carry it to its destination. The effort is smooth and speedy as the train is not very long.

A train is a form of rail transport consisting of a series of vehicles propelled along a rail track to transport cargo or passengers. Motive power is provided by a separate locomotive or individual motors in self-propelled multiple units. Although historically steam propulsion dominated, the most common modern forms are diesel and electric locomotives, the latter supplied by overhead wires or additional rails.
