Description

The buzz of this machine makes your fresh fruit and still flapping fish say brrr, but warms your little ears with a quite pleasant accent to its electrified expression. A nice, stable, and low toned sound to satisfy the listener that yearns for the audible features of a happy and healthy household. Before the invention of the refrigerator, icehouses were used to provide cool storage for most of the year. Placed near freshwater lakes or packed with snow and ice during the winter, they were once very common. The first known artificial refrigeration was demonstrated by William Cullen at the University of Glasgow in 1748. The first refrigerator to see widespread use was the General Electric "Monitor-Top" refrigerator introduced in 1927, so-called because of its resemblance to the gun turret on the ironclad warship USS Monitor of the 1860s.
