Rainforests are characterized by high rainfall, with a normal annual rainfall between 1750–2000 mm (68-78 inches). Looking down at the murky water you wonder what could be lurking. Piranha waiting to nibble on your hand, or an electric eel that could charge a car battery, who knows?
