Puddle In The Woods

During the easy forest storm the raindrops fall gently onto the trees. Dripping down the leaves like a fountain, the water plops down to the ground. The sky water sprinkles upon the trees, landing in the puddles forming on the ground. Puddles in natural landscapes and habitats, when not resulting from precipitation, can indicate the presence of a seep or spring. They can provide essential moisture for small wildlife, such as birds and insects.
