The jetty has served as the barrier between the ocean and the harbor for over one hundred years. On days like these, however, every moment it holds back the violence of the sea seems like a miracle. As the wind, waves, and rain whip away mercilessly at the wall, you cannot help but admire the engineers whose creation has stood for so long as a testament to man's mastery of his environment.
