Nova Icaria Beach

The long serene shoreline is lovingly massaged by the ocean's delicate waves, calming the coast with its complete and careful caress. So powerful is this hypnotizing rhythm that all who enter its domain become docile dames descending down into the soft embrace of warm welcoming sands. Nova Icaria Beach is 400 m (1300 ft) long and is situated in the centre of Barcelona's coastline. It is known for being the quietest beach in the city, visited mostly by families and smaller groups. It also possesses an area for disabled persons, which consists of assisting them to get in and out of the water and supervising their time, using an amphibian bathing chair if necessary.
