Mollem National Park

Deep in the southern heart of the Indian subcontinent lies the lair of countless creatures crooning and creeping through the think green canopy covering the countryside, separating the dark forest floor from the bright blue sky. Mollem National Park is a 240 square kilometers (92.7 sq mi) protected area located in the Western Ghats of South India, along the eastern border of Goa. This sanctuary contains pristine vegetation with a canopy that is almost completely closed, blocking sunlight, and causing the availability of grass to be very limited, thus limiting wildlife. However, there are several perennial water sources in the sanctuary and the availability of water is not a factor for wildlife.
