The natural reserve of Moerputten is alive with the sounds of an assortment of birds engaging one another in a form of call and response. You can hear the flutter of their wings as they graze over lily pads, rivers, and tress.They perch atop branches and serenade the viewer and each other. Among them can be heard crows and buzzards.
The Moerputten is a nature reserve in the Dutch province of North Brabant , near 's-Hertogenbosch . It has a size of 118 hectares. The area is one of the few remaining peat bogs south of the major rivers. The Moerputten consists of many different types of terrain. So there are meadows, reedbeds, marshes, open water and willow thickets to find.
