Lakeside At Night

The richness of sound at this lakeside spot is the fullness of nature at its most prolific with frogs, fowl, and flying insects filling the air with their nightly calls captured in the wind. Step out into the darkness and become one with the frenzy of free spirited species that call the dark of night their home. Nocturnal animals generally have highly developed senses of hearing and smell, and specially adapted eyesight. Many species which are otherwise active during the day exhibit some nocturnal behaviour; for example, many seabirds and sea turtles attend breeding sites or colonies at night to reduce the risk of being attacked by predators.
