Lake Waves

Nature's way of calming even the most sour feeling beast is the soft subtle sound of gentle lake waves lapping on the shore. Even the towering mountains must bow to the power of the simple motion of water, slowly scouring away the shore and reducing hills into sand. Maybe you can dip your toes into the cool lake and begin your day with a refreshing zip to your step. In lake ecology the environment of a lake is referred to as lacustrine. Large lakes are occasionally referred to as "inland seas," and small seas are occasionally referred to as lakes.
