        Description
Along the banks of the Kavanar River in southern India are the delightful sounds of a feathered playground. Much like India itself, the park is overflowing with a wide variety of unique voices. Owl, egret, heron, cormorant, and duck are just a few of the species that pack this tiny 14 acre preserve. The sanctuary is more than a local hotspot, foul here include migratory birds from as far away as the Himalayas and even distant Siberia. This former rubber plantation is one of the world's great bird watching spots.
