Intense Battle Zone

The unrelenting intensity, exploding overhead and whizzing by your ear, envelopes you in a world of sound that sends your consciousness gliding over the battlefield like a lone lost bird in awe of humanity's destructive power. Originally, war likely consisted of small-scale raiding. One half of the people found in a Nubian cemetery dating to as early as 12,000 years ago had died of violence.
