Höfn Harbor

Höfn Harbor is located in Höfn, a small fishing town off of a south-eastern peninsula in Iceland. The name "Höfn" itself means "harbor," an appropriate name for a port surrounded on three sides by the sea. During the summer, tourists come to visit the Hornafjarðarbær community, eat the local fish such as lobster and bacaloa, and to see the Vatnajökull glacier (the largest ice cap in Europe).
