Happy Hour

The groups of people who came to have fun during happy hour are certainly enjoying themselves and their drinks. People are laughing and talking and chatting about, some people ordering more drinks. Happy hour is a marketing term for a period of time in which a restaurant, bar, bowling alley, stadium, or state and county fair offers discounts on alcoholic drinks, such as beer, wine, and cocktails. A pub, formally public house, is a drinking establishment fundamental to the culture of Britain, Ireland, Australia, Newfoundland, Canada and New Zealand. In many places, especially in villages, a pub can be the focal point of the community. The writings of Samuel Pepys describe the pub as the heart of England. The history of pubs can be traced back to Roman taverns, through the Anglo-Saxon alehouse to the development of the modern tied house system in the 19th century.
