Hail Storm from Inside

$0.99
availability: In Stock

Description

Hail is solid precipitation. Each lump of ice is referred to as a hail stone which begins as a water droplet. As the droplet rises with updrafts and the temperature drops below freezing, the droplet cools instantly and begins to create the layered structure of a hailstone as it comes in contact with cloud condensation nuclei (tiny particles that allow for the transition of vapor to liquid in a cloud).
