Footsteps Through Leaves

Late autumn, all the trees are shedding their leaves. We all have that urge to step on a particularly crunchy looking leaf that, let alone a whole path covered with them. The leaves on trees turn such beautiful colors in the fall because they lose the green pigment chlorophyll, allowing the other colors in the leaf to show through.
