Footsteps On Concrete

You aren’t really in a hurry, wherever you’re going, but your feet still move with purpose. Each step lands solidly on the cement, echoing in your ears as you walk with your head down, fixated on the path ten feet ahead of you. The cracks you see are expected, and the people who built the path probably used steel bars to reinforce the cracks and keep them from widening, hence the term “reinforced concrete.”
