Evening Waves

The sun has set and everyone but you has left the beach. The sky is slowly shifting from yellow to pink, and pink to purple, and the sounds of life and activity that once filled your ears have succumbed to the crashing of the waves. The pebbles under your feet still hold the warmth of the fleeting sunlight and give the waves a hollow grating noise that reverberates throughout your body.
