Electric Fence

Electric fencing creates an electrical barrier that generates high voltage pulses. Smooth metal wire (usually steel) is attached to posts that are driven deep into the ground and insulated with either plastic or porcelain. Although sometimes used for both people and animals, electric fences are most typically used in agricultural settings to control livestock.
