Description
Lovely little children play amongst the passerine and toss delightful delicacies into the air, attracting all manner of feathered friends, forcing them into a frenzied foray for a few crumbs of food. But the children don't notice the squawking competition, instead they see a happy dance that the funny little critters are performing all around them. Black sunflower seeds are highly recommended for use as bird food because they attract a wide variety of birds, have a high ratio of meat to shell, and are high in fat content. Not all birds eat seeds. Suet (beef or mutton fat) is recommended for insect-eating birds like nuthatches and woodpeckers. Bread and kitchen scraps are often fed to ducks and gulls.
