Description
Located in the Guadiana Valley Natural Park in Mértola, a district of Beja in Portugal, Barragem Da Tapada is a large dam that was built in the late 1800's. Once used to supply water to a British mine and local village, the large dam has now been converted into a recreational attraction that provides visitors with a riverside beach, amphitheater, and playground.
