Barra Del Rompido Beach

The sun is out in all of its glory and it is casting its warmth onto the smooth, white sand. The coastline of Spain is being lapped at by foaming waves as they crash against the rocks. You close your eyes, against a clear blue sky, and inhale the salt air as it races to gently caress your skin before the heat evaporates it. It is just you and the sky listening to melody of the ocean.

Cartaya is a Spanish locality and municipality in the Province of Huelva (autonomous community of Andalusia). Cartaya's municipal area is located in the southwest of the province of Huelva in the coastal area and limited from east to south for the Piedras River and its river mouth, giving origin to the San Miguel beach. The urban core is situated on foot of the riverside of the Piedras while the cores of El Rompido and El Portil – latter also belongs to Punta Umbría – are located in the river mouth of the Piedras and on foot of the Atlantic respectively.
