Barcelona City Walk

The streets of Barcelona are alive and busting with locals and tourists alike. People are walking quickly past shops, some stopping to get to something delicious to eat and take in the day from one of the many cafes. Choruses of people exchange greetings for the day. Children are running around playing hide and seek as the adults dodge them. Laughter echoes throughout the streets as the busy metropolis is in full swing.

Barcelona is a Spanish city, capital of the autonomous community of Catalonia and the second largest city in the country, with a population of 1,620,943[1] within its administrative limits. The urban area of Barcelona extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of around 4.5 million, being the sixth-most populous urban area in the European Union after Paris, London, the Ruhr, Madrid and Milan. About five million people live in the Barcelona metropolitan area. It is also the largest metropolis on the Mediterranean Sea.
