Asphalt Plant

Asphalt plants produce coated road-stone. By using aggregates, sand, (sometimes recycled asphalt pavement), and a filler, asphalt plants create the hot mix that is coated with a binder after being set in place. Different plants use different material-feeding and heating processes such as a batch heater plant versus a continuous plant. Batch heater plants are used in cases when the volume desired is relatively small and short production runs are common, whereas continuous plants create more product over longer periods of time.
