Arched Tunnel

Excluding the entrance and exit, the underground passage is completely enclosed. At each end and inside the actual tunnel itself, the underpass captures sound, causing sound waves to bounce off the sides and reverberate to create a reflection. The echos travel more slowly than the original noise before being received at the opposite end.
