Air Exhaust

The swift stream of air cascades through the spinning spaces of metal, making all the interior fresh and free from stagnation. You dance in the hallway, a cool breeze blowing around your hair, giving you that youthful feeling you thought you had lost, which is now recaptured and emanating from your every pore. An exhaust air heat pump extracts heat from the exhaust air of a building and transfers the heat to the supply air, hot tap water and/or hydronic heating system (underfloor heating, radiators). This type of heat pump requires a certain air exchange rate to maintain its output power. Since the inside air is approximately 20-22 degrees Celcius all year round, the maximum output power of the heat pump is not varying with the seasons and outdoor temperature. A recuperator is a special purpose counter-flow energy recovery heat exchanger positioned within the supply and exhaust air streams of an air handling system, or in the exhaust gases of an industrial process, in order to recover the heat energy.
